Hackatron Asia Singapore is a 32-hour hackathon held over Saturday to Sunday, 6-7 December in Singapore. There are two components: (1) closed-door hackathon (2) open-to-public talks.
For the hackathon, there will be Challenges fielded by companies with real technology offerings (Paypal, Uber and Softlayer onboard as API sponsors) for developers to hack on, and Mentors on-site to provide technology and platform guidance. For the open-to-public talks, it takes place in parallel to the hackathon and consists of technology workshops + Show & Tell sessions by various developer groups.
This event in Singapore is our flagship event for our new standalone hackathon series, Hackatron Asia. The next edition will be Hackatron Asia Tokyo in March 2015. Website: http://HackatronAsia.com
