LINE whoscall set up office in Bangkok to strengthen user dialogues

LINE whoscall, the caller identification and number management app by Taiwanese based developer Gogolook has now officially set up a field office in  Thailand.

Acquired by Naver late last year with its marquee app now published jointly with LINE, Gogolook sets out to do what it has always committed itself in doing —creating a global network of trust.

In setting up an office in Bangkok, Gogolook looks to expand overseas to its fourth market after Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. By deploying a team in Bangkok, Gogolook looks to strengthen its dialogues with its local users and facilitate the localisation of its leading app, LINE whoscall.

Gogolook will be focusing its local resources on streamlining communication with its users through periodic surveys and interviews aimed at creating a better product that caters best to user scenarios and behaviours.

The apps main features, caller identification where a caller is identified in real time, and call guard database where malicious numbers are flagged and given the choice to be blocked, have shown great potential in Thailand with impressive organic growth. Along with LINE’s dominance in the
country, setting up an office in Thailand seemed like a natural next move.

Furthermore, LINE whoscall’s users have always been Gogolook’s greatest assets and with this move, the team looks forward to hearing to users voices, opinions and suggestions with hopes of continually bringing the best product to its users.

LINE whoscall is now available for download on Google Play and Windows Phone Store.
