อินเวนท์ (InVent) สร้างปรากฏการณ์ใหม่เสริมศักยภาพการแข็งขันทางธุรกิจ เปิดตัวผู้ร่วมลงทุนรายแรกในรูปแบบ Corporate Venture Capital พร้อมรับการเปิดเสรีประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน ปี 2558
อินทัช หรือ บริษัท ชิน คอร์ปอเรชัน จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้เปิดตัวบริษัท อุ๊คบี จำกัด (Ookbee) บริษัทร่วมลงทุนรายแรกในโครงการอินเวนท์ (InVent) นับเป็นปรากฏการณ์ใหม่ครั้งแรกของวงการธุรกิจไทย กับการร่วมลงทุนในรูปแบบคอร์ปอเรท เวนเจอร์ แคปปิตอล (Corporate Venture Capital)?ด้วยการสนับสนุนเงินลงทุนให้กับกลุ่มธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมของไทย (Small and Medium Enterprise – SMEs) ที่มีศักยภาพในธุรกิจเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ โทรคมนาคมและสื่อ ซึ่งจะช่วยเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันในเวทีโลก พร้อมรับการเปิดเสรีประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (ASEAN Economic Community : AEC) ในปี 2558 ขณะเดียวกันยังเป็นการขยายการลงทุนที่จะทาใหกลุ่มอินทัชเติบโตมากขึ้นอีกด้วย
คุณสมประสงค์ บุญยะชัย ประธานกรรมการบริหาร กลมอินทัช?กล่าวว่า ?อินทัชเปิดตัวโครงการรวมลงทุน ภายใต้ชื่อ อินเวนท์ ในรูปแบบคอร์ปอเรท เวนเจอร์ แคปปิตอล (Corporate Venture Capital) เมื่อปลายเดือนพฤษภาคมที่ผ่านมา โดยมีนักลงทุนและผู้ประกอบการให้ความสนใจสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการเป็นจำนวนมาก และในวันนี้จึงขอเปิดตัวผู้ประกอบการรายแรก คือ ?อุ๊คบี??(Ookbee) ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำตลาดทางด้านช่องทางการนำเสนอสิ่งตีพิมพ์ดิจิตอล (Digital Publication Platform) เป็นบริษัทแรกที่คณะกรรมการพิจารณาแล้ว เห็นสมควรเข้าลงทุน ซึ่งนอกจากคุณสมบติเบื้องต้นที่เหมาะสมแล้ว อุ๊คบียังมีความสามารถโดดเด่นในด้านการดำเนินธุรกิจ โดยเป็นผู้นำตลาด e-book ในปัจจุบัน?
?หลังจากการร่วมลงทุนแล้ว อุ๊คบีจะมีอิสระในการบริหารงาน การขยายกิจการ โดยจะมีกรรมการร่วมตามสัดส่วนที่ถือหุ้น และที่สำคัญคือ อินเวนท์ยังให้ความช่วยเหลือในด้านการสร้างพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจต่างๆ ในเครืออินทัช เช่น เอไอเอส จะช่วยสนับสนุนทางด้านการตลาดและกลยุทธที่จะสามารถต่อยอดธุรกิจของอุ๊คบีได้เช่นกัน??คุณสมประสงค์?กล่าวในที่สุด
คุณณัฐวุฒิ พึงเจริญพงศ์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท อุ๊คบี จำกัด?กล่าวว่า ?อุ๊คบี จะนำเงินทุนที่ได้จากการร่วมลงทุนครั้งนี้ไปพัฒนาธุรกิจในระยะสั้น (6 เดือน) โดยจะปรับปรุงบริการที่มีอยู่ให้ดีขึ้น ขยายบริการให้ครอบคลุมธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับ Digital Content ต่างๆ เพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับกลุ่มผู้ใช้งานแต่ละกลุ่มให้มากขึ้น รวมถึงออกบริการใหม่ๆ เพื่อเพิ่มความหลากหลายและเพิ่มช่องทางการสร้างรายได้ใหม่ๆ ใหกับบริษัทในระยะยาว (3 – 5 ปี) มีเปาหมาย คือ การเป็นผู้นำในตลาดที่เราให้บริการอยู่ รวมทั้งการขยายตลาดไปยังต่างประเทศ เช่น เวียดนามและมาเลเซีย?
การจับมือกันในครั้งนี้ของ อินเวนท์และอุ๊คบี จึงเป็นปรากฏการณ์ใหม่ของประเทศไทยที่จะช่วยส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้ธุรกิจเอสเอ็มอีของไทยมีความพร้อม, มีศักยภาพ สามารถที่จะเติบโตและก้าวเข้าสู่การแข่งขันในเวทีโลกไดอย่าง มั่นใจมากขึ้น อีกทั้งทำให้ประเทศไทยมีความเข็มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจทัดเทียมอารยประเทศ

InVent is creating a new paradigm to enhance business competitiveness?and getting ready for coming ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015
Intouch or Shin Corporation Public Company Limited invested in Ookbee Limited as its first venture capital investment under the ?InVent? project. It is a new paradigm shift for Thai industry to have corporate venture capital injecting funds into Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) who have great potential and performance in IT, telecommunications, and media. Therefore, this will support Thai SME to gain their competitiveness for the coming AEC in 2015 and also expanding Intouch investment portfolio.
Mr. Somprasong Boonyachai, CEO of Intouch Group, said “Intouch launched a corporate venture capital project under the name ?InVent? at the end of May 2012 and great success outcome can be acknowledged today after many interested SME came to applied. After careful consideration by InVent Committee, Ookbee who is a market leader in providing e-publication platform, was selected as the first InVent investment?.
“After the investment, Intouch insisted Ookbee to continue running and expanding its businesses independently. Intouch will not be involved in day to day operation however, Intouch will assign director(s) to monitor Ookbee business performance in its Board of Director according to Intouch shareholding proportion. It is also important to note that InVent will help Ookbee expand its business opportunities i.e., marketing and strategic support from AIS in order to strengthen Ookbee capability and competitiveness in the market?, Mr. Somprasong commented.
Mr. Natavudh Pungcharoenpong, CEO of Ookbee, said “The injected capital will be used to increase new digital content platform for new customer segmentation and also to reinforce its existing services and sale channels. Within 3-5 years from now, goal of Ookbee is to be a market leader in providing????????????? e-publication platform in Asia Pacific. As of today, Ookbee has launched e-publication platform in Vietnam and shortly to launch in Malaysia.?
